You can make almost any room a home with just some curtains.
Found a purple gingham tablecloth at the “Christmas Tree Shops” for $2.99. (Kaitlyn won’t let me put any more pink in here. But it’s okay. Moderation is good.)
The edges were already hemmed, so I just had to cut, put a hem on the top, and sew a tube-like strip along the back for the spring rod and VOLIA it’s beautiful.
I made them while watching The Price Is Right, Celebrity Edition. The one with Snoop Dogg. So now every time I look at these frilly curtains, I always think of Snoop.
P.S. I LOVE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
So I have a bit of a headband obsession…and I was just keeping them in my “toiletry drawer,” but they were kinda taking over the drawer, and it was a pain.
And so, necessity is the mother of invention! I took a Quaker’s Oatmeal Canister and mod podged on some pretty paper and BAM it’s now cute and functional! The headbands fit perfectly. And, I kept the lid for it, so it doubles as storage!
Over break, I chalked my (almost) sister’s driveway for her birthday! It took like 5 hours, but was totally worth it. (above)
At least I didn’t grate my fingers like I did with the bonfire chalking from the summer. (below)
Pretty paper fixes just about everything and anything.
Nobody wants to see where you keep your tampons and personal items, so hide them! I just covered the box in pretty paper. It took me less than 10 minutes. When you use them all up, just keep the box and replenish the goods.
I just felt like such a genius. This trick can be used for almost anything, no?!
